MSE has been selected as consulting engineer for the restoration of the Grand Theater in Lancaster, KY.  The Grand, constructed in 1926, was once the center of the social scene in Garrard County.  Standing in one of the special boxes near the fron of the stage, one's thoughts immediately go the the Ford Theater and President Lincoln in 1865.  The Grand was the first air conditioned building in this central Kentucky farming community and brought welcome relief in the summer to its many patrons.
