This project involved the construction of a new 1.44 MGD water plant utilizing the Kentucky River. The plant was designed to overcome previous trihalomethane problems experienced by the City. Funding was obtained from CDBG and RECD sources with MSE providing all grantsmanship, design and construction administrative services.
